Our club is open to all students at New York University. We invite students from every school/major to attend our weekly meetings! No prior experience is needed.
We serve as a support network for professionalism, technical skills, course advisement, exam preparation, company presentations, networking, and mentoring for interested students.
We are focused on community here at Actuarial Society so don’t hesitate to attend one of our meetings or reach out with questions!
Our Workshops
Wednesday - 12:30-1:30pm
During our Wednesday workshops, we go over some basic topics related to the actuarial field. This includes introductions to exams, networking, excel, and much more. We also invite professionals to come speak about their experience in the field.
Friday - 3:30-4:30pm
During our Friday workshops, we introduce more technical skills such as programing languages, exam material, etc. These workshops are more focused on the specifics of various topics related to actuarial science.
